OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not given that two angles are equal

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes it is

OpenStudy (amistre64):

can you draw an isosleces triangle that doesnt have 2 angles that are equal?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

so, 180 = a+y+y 180-a = 2y (180-a)/2 = y x+y = 180 x = 180 - y x = 180 - (180 - a)/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay so 180= 40 +2y 140= 2y y=70

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x+70 = 180 x= 110 correct?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes :)
