look the numerical processes in the matrices is like the ordinary numerical processes except division therefore when you multiply a matrix by a number u multiply the no. with each no. inside the matrix so if we change the no. outside the matrix by X it's the same therefore \[-X \left[\begin{matrix}5 & 12 \\ -2 & -3\end{matrix}\right]\] \[\therefore =\left[\begin{matrix}-5x & -12x\\ 2x & 3x\end{matrix}\right]\] then u hav already the answer so take any no. & solve the equation by it's result like that \[2x=14\] \[\therefore x=7\]
