PLEASE HELP Given the regular polygon, find the measure of each numbered angle. (image below)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a. mangle1 = 45°, mangle2 = 135° b. mangle1 = 45°, mangle2 = 67.5° c. mangle1 = mangle2 = 60° d. mangle1 = 22.5°, mangle2 = 78.75°

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well you have an octagon. So the angle sum of an octagon is \[A = 180 \times (n - 2)\] n = number of sides. so the angle sum is 1080 the work regular means sides and angles are equal. so 1 angle measures 135 the line from the centre to the vertex will bisect the angle so angle 2 = 135/2 each triangle is isosceles... angle 1 = 180 - 135 hope this helps

it does thanks.

wait so the answer is definitely m<1 = 45° ; m < 2 = 67.5°? Just double checking
