Help with this project! I need to figure out the area :D

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

This is the example she gave me *Bedroom 2 is a trapezoid. The area of a trapezoid can be found using (b1+b2)H/2. Since each square is 2 ft long, B1= 10 ft, B2 = 24 ft and H = 14 ft. So the area of the room is (10+24)14/2=34(14)/2= 238 ft^2.

OpenStudy (phi):

In your picture, the kitchen is a trapezoid. What is the problem ? If it is to find the area of the floors, count squares to get the width and length. multiply each by 3 because each square is 3 ft by 3 ft

OpenStudy (phi):

If you need to find the areas of the walls, use the fact that all walls are 10 ft tall

OpenStudy (lifeisadangerousgame):

Okay I'll try it, thanks Phi! :D
