For question 1: 4a(a......) the answer is A, multiply each term inside the parenthesis, use your exponent law, when multiplying a x a = a^2 because you need to do addition of exponents. For question 2 the answer is also A, the product of those two terms with reduction of terms using your basic algebra rules.
