|dw:1367486719286:dw| \[\psi_1 = A e^ { ik_1x} + B e^{-ik_1x} \] \[\psi_2 = C e^ { ik_2x} + D e^{-ik_2x} \] \[\psi_3 = E e^ { ik_3x} + F e^{-ik_3x} \] where \[\ B e^{-ik_1x} \] is reflected wave from boundary at x=0, F=0, assuming no wave coming from infinity. Question: What about boundary condition. at x=- infinity, should not psi(1) go to zero, but if B is not zero, at x= -infinity it will diverge. then what is the explanation behind this.
