x/2+x/5+x/3

What do you need to find in this question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How it would be simplified.

\[\frac{ x }{ 2 }+\frac{ x }{ 5 }+\frac{ x }{ 3 }\]We need to find a common denominator. In this case multiply each fraction by the product of the other two. That is\[\frac{ 5\times 3 \times x }{ 5\times 3 \times 2 }+\frac{ 2\times 3 \times x }{ 2\times 3 \times 5 }+\frac{ 5\times 2 \times x }{ 5\times 2 \times 3 }\]Which gives you \[\frac{ 15x }{ 30 }+\frac{ 6x }{ 30 }+\frac{ 10x }{ 30 }\]Notice the common denominator?\[\frac{15 x + 6x+10x }{30 }\]
