Well first do 3 • 2 = 6 Then 9 - 6 +4 9-6=3 3+4=7

You use PEMDAS P(parenthesis) E(exponents) M(multiplication) D(division) A(addition) S(subtraction)

PEMDAS shows you which order you should use to solve the question. That's why I multiplied first. Then you do subtraction and addition from left to right.
