geerky42 (geerky42):

Ok, let y be \(3^{x-2}\). So to find inverse, switch x and y to each other then isolate y. Got it? \(x = 3^{y-2}\) Take \(\log_3\) of both sides. \(\log_3 x = y-2\) \(\boxed{\log_3 x + 2} = y\)
