A truncated icosidodecahedron (also known as a "great rhombicosidodecahedron" or "omnitruncated icosidodecahedron") is a polyhedron with 120 vertices. Each vertex looks the same: a square, a hexagon, and a decagon come together at each vertex. How many edges does a truncated icosidodecahedron have? See screenshot :)

OpenStudy (dan815):

u want the total number of lines between points right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its saying how many edges...so i suppose so.

OpenStudy (dan815):

ok ok i see

OpenStudy (dan815):

this is a really old post u still need answer?

OpenStudy (dan815):

the way to do it is to realize there are 120 points and 10 for each decagon so there are 12 decagons

OpenStudy (dan815):

u cud also just forget all the 6 hexagon shapes and for the simple shapes they make together, taking all the hexagons as points to calculate the connections inbetween
