Hi, @ananyakanak \(\huge \color{red}{\text{Welcome to Open Study}}\ddot\smile\) you want \(\alpha^2+\beta^2\) where \(\alpha \) and \(\beta\) are the roots of \(ax^2+bx+c\) right ? can you find the sum and product of the roots first ? then you can use, \(\alpha^2+\beta^2=(\alpha+ \beta )^2-2\alpha \beta\)
