OpenStudy (ryan123345):

If you know that two sides are congruent what do you know about the third one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its congruent also...?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

we have two sets of sides congruent above. does the third side also looks same in both triangles ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

can a girl wear earrings that look like above... ? their sizes dont match at all right ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

so... ?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

can we conclude this :- with two sides alone we cannot prove triangles congruent ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it cannot be proven congruent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right? lol

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

great ! so we need all 3 sides (SSS) or 2sides + 1 angle(SAS), or 2 angles + 1 side(AAS) for making out congruence. anything else u simply tick "cannot be proven congruent"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh okaaay thats a simpler way of explaining that! thank you :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does AAS also work w. 2sides + 1angle?
