It depends on your measuring device. If you measure the door with a mm ruler, you will get the answer of half a mm or 0.0005m. If its a metre stick with only centimetres on it you will get a much higher value of 0.005m. Put it this way. The error is always half of the smallest division on something physical like a ruler. It can be a full division though if it was measured by a computer
