well it depends on what shape these angles are associated with or else this is impossible to answer because i don't know if these are supposed to be equal angles our if they add up to 90 degrees. please elaborate.

Opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent.
That means m<A = m<C
Since you know m<A = 5x - 6, and m<C = 3x + 14, set those two expressions equal and solve the equation for x. Then substitute the value of x in m<A = 5x - 6 to get the measure of angle A.
