Question 3. We have got an amazing Junction Field-Effect Transistor. Here it is. http://rghost.ru/45735262 (Sorry, I dunno how to make attachments). This JFET is included into circuit. Here. http://rghost.ru/45735308 . Assuming that IDSS=0.008A, VP=4V, R=2000Ω, and VS=8V, find the operating point of the circuit by evaluating vD and iD. And at what value of VS (in Volts) does the current through the JFET stabilize at IDSS? Maybe somebody knows it? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, I have found iD and vd. But still can't solve last question.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can u give the equations for iD & vD.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(vD-Vs)/R+iD=0 (vD-8)/2000+0.008(2*(vD/4)-(vD/4)^2)=0 vD = 1 iD = Idss ( 2 * (vD/Vp) - (vD/Vp)^2 ) = 0.0035

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, i have done it myself. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what's the equation for Vs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I made it with lines. iD = -0.0005*vD+0.01 It is crossing with axles in (0;0.01) and (20:0) So my answer 20.

OpenStudy (maxsteel):

can you be more specific about how we calculate vs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is very difficult to tell it in english cause it isn't my native language. Sorry(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you done all three pats of Q2 ??? can you help me for Q2? please

OpenStudy (maxsteel):

@sajid1 check this post for formula

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maxsteel i don't know how to solve for vd i try it but ...

OpenStudy (maxsteel):

@sajid1 attaching you the screenshot

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@maxsteel answer for Vth = +5V

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vth=r2/(r1+r2))*v-r4/(r3+r4))*v BRO u have same circuit just different values

OpenStudy (maxsteel):

its just =+5 nt -5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u got it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

maxsteel have u solved Q6P1?

OpenStudy (maxsteel):

ya post me u r 3rd question values bro i will help you out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The channel has a length of D=26m and noise is added in at the rate of 0.6Vm.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

VOL=1V,VIL=2V,VIH=3V,VOH=4V. What is the minimum number of buffers required to connect between the digital links in order to ensure correct operation?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ tistaroun what's the equation for Vs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have anyone of u solved q5? if yes could u plz tell how to solve
