So the thing is A has all elements which B Has; and B has more elements than A.

So A is actually a part of B. In set theory we denote it as A⊂B i.e. A is a subset of B.

A U B . Since A is itself a part of B hence A U B will be B only.


NOTE - A is called a subset of B; then B conversely is called superset of A.
