OpenStudy (goformit100):

If A and B are two sets such that A ⊂ B, then what is A ∪ B ?

OpenStudy (goformit100):

@luckythebest

OpenStudy (zugzwang):

B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the logic is same as last sum. :P

OpenStudy (zugzwang):

Obviously B is a subset of A U B A U B is a subset of B because if an element x is in B, then obviously, it is in B and if an element x is in A, then it is in B since A is contained in B.

OpenStudy (zugzwang):

hence equal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldn't it be the element that are in both A and B

OpenStudy (goformit100):

Thank you sir

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is actual A is contained in B not A is a subset of B. The signs are totally different
