Matrix fun... hopefully
@fawad114
How do you determine the rank of a matrix?
Where is that guy...?
The rank of a matrix is the maximum number of independent rows (or, the maximum number of independent columns). This might help you, I'm a little rusty when it comes to algebra. -> http://easycalculation.com/matrix/matrix-rank.php
Basically you need to get it into row reduced echelon form and see how many rows you have with their own ones.
the guy who needs this info is offline now grrr
but thanks for your help anyways
I'm not the one who needs it..... gah anyway, closing this questoin
I am serious. I'm seriously helping out a guy who couldn't be bothered to post a question about matrices... but now he's offline.
How do you know that I don't know anything about that? Did I SAY I didn't know how to do it?
I would love to teach him, but he has to be online for that. You need to loosen up... maybe get some sleep. PS I'm pretty good with matrices, do not underestimate me.
Calm down everyone!
Yeah, okay... but get some rest, Hoa, looks like you need it :P
Oh ok then :)
Yeah, but don't assume too much next time, @Hoa here you assumed I knew nothing about it :P And you can't have been more wrong LOL
Apology accepted :)
