Why is physics considered the basic science? How does it relate to the other sciences.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The definition of physics is the study of matter, and how it behaves with other matter. That's it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that the answer or just information

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would say that's why it would be considered basic, what other sciences do you want it related to? You could say chemistry, the bonding, ionic, covalent bonds, metallic bonds, electron sharing and exchange between elements, physics encompasses that, the macroscopic beauty is whats seen as chemistry, bangs and pops, that's what its cool, but in actuality you're learning about a whole lot more. Biology, same thing except the 'zooming' in, it constantly around micrometers 10^-6 of what we see, and you looking at how life interacts with one another, microorganisms. What other sciences?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its doesn't ask for just one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

two is better than one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea but I think its just talking bout all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all sciences derive the basics from physical science.we consider our existence in the physical plane.so whatever happens in this plane is physical.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and study of physical stuff is physics..
