2. 2x lbs + x lbs + y lbs = 11 lbs

2. 3x + y = 11
y = 11 - 3x

1. 2x lbs(1.50 $/lb) + x lbs(3.00 $/lb) + (11 - 3x) lbs(1.50 $/lbs) = $ 21.00
3x + 3x + 16.5 - 4.5x = 21
1.5x = 4.5
x = 3 lbs
