Can anyone tell me how migration is responsible for changing gene frequency?

The gene pool is affected by immigration and emmigration. For example, (not to be racist), but if there is a all African American population and a white female moves in and intermarries and has kids, the gene frequencies will be altered since the kids will express both the parents of the white female and African American male, instead of the "wild type" genes of the African American population
