*cough* Firstly, OpenStudy has nothing against older users. A lot of ambies weren't made ambies until they applied each year, 2 years later- just one application doesn't do it. Your experience is what you make. If you're treated like an outsider, you are an outsider, you've done something wrong, same goes if you hate it. And I don't let the lazy admins affect me. When the site's down; well, I have a life. I go and breath air. I come back, the site is up. That simple. They're very lazy. They've been ignoring all the feature requests, even when I code it for them. But that doesn't affect me. The experience here is the *people*, the *people* here themselves. And how I can try to make the site better, how I can make extensions and everything to enhance it.

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

You really are such a hater and pessimist.

OpenStudy (aravindg):

I have to point about something on "not being able to message mods" .Firstly note that most of them are users with high smartscore .Believe me if you have a large enough smartscore 90+ you will get tonnes of messages like "help me please ", "can u help in bio ?". or a set of questions itself as message .Even many users tag you evrywhere so that you become confused/annoyed .Thats the reason they make restrictions on messaging option. So that wouldnt be nice to tell some mods are not worth it just because they dont accept messages. you can always use the report abuse button .It notifies all mods about the problem. About the suggestion part .The team is working hard on stabilizing the system now .That is the reason why all the suggestions including yours are piled up .That is also the reason the site is down frequently .When the work on stabilizing is finished ,hopefully we will be getting new features and our suggestions will be looked into .Until then please show patience .When the site is down ,try to have a positive attitude as @dumbsearch2 "I have a life. I go and breath air. I come back, the site is up. " I do not support comments like "admins are lazy " .Just because in a particular time they dont show up doesnt mean that they are not doing their job .There are many things happening behind the scenes .Rest assured you will soon see the difference. Last But not the least please dont feel like an outsider .None of us forms groups and keep others aside. Feel proud to say that you belong to the Openstudy Community.

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

*bows* well said!

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Thanks :)

OpenStudy (swag):

@dumbsearch2 You do not need to call people names.

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

@SWAG Eh, he was calling OpenStudy names. :) I'm very defensive :3

OpenStudy (swag):

More petty.

OpenStudy (swag):

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

OpenStudy (aravindg):

@godrovg I apologise for your bad experience. I believe that there is no age restriction for learning. You're more than welcome to learn here. I understand that some of moderators have put message restrictions. But you can always message me, I may not be available all the time. But I'll certainly help you with any trouble. About ambassadorship, please contact @bostonblues, she'll help you apply. I believe there is no age restriction for that. Open Study cares for all its users and wants a peaceful and harmonious environment here. I'm sorry for bad experiences here but let's start afresh.

OpenStudy (nottim):

Hey, if you ever take a look at this one, I do that "look it up yourself" because usually I multitask when I help. And according to my training/previous experience, they usually learn best when they do open discovery in researching the topic themselves. Sorry if that was ever off-putting!

OpenStudy (nottim):

Hey, sorry, I didn't understand the last statement.

OpenStudy (nottim):

The links we post aren't helping?

OpenStudy (nottim):

Whatever the situation, pleased to have you here and ask/answer questions. Improves our (my) ability to think.

OpenStudy (nottim):

And teach.
