How do i start a conclusion paragraph, without using in conclusion to start?

Do something to restate the purpose of the paper. For example, if I was writing a paper on the fall of the roman empire. I could say something like...
The Roman empire stood from date 1 to date 2, but fell under the domination of (whatever group) leaving its military weakened, it's leader missing, and the city in ruins.

Go on to talk about questions you may have, or general questions that historians may still have on your topic.

Then I like to close with a pertinent quote from the time period about that which I was writing.
