A quadrilateral contains two equal sides measuring 12 cm each and an included right angles. If the measure of the third side is 8 cm and the angle opposite the right angle is 120, find the measure of the fourth side and the area of the quadrilateral.
do you have any diagram attached to the question.....
????
No, sorry. @kausarsalley
fourth side = 8 cm as it is a kite having sides 12cm, 12cm, 8cm, 8cm and angles 90 opposite 120 and 75 opposite 75 degrees. area = (12*12/2 + 8*8sin60deg) sqcm = 127.424 sqcm
Uhm, I already did make a-b-c be right angle with sides 12cm long and 90deg between them. I made d be a point that is somewhere between a and c but 8cm from c. distance abc is right angle triangle with hypotenuse ac=12*sqrt(2). And I don't know what to do next. @nathan917
