1. True or False. A histogram with a shape represents data that is unevenly distributed through the intervals. 2. What is the shape of the histogram below? A.) Symmetrical. B.) Proportional. C.) Skewed. D.) Uniform.
3. The number of e-mails a friend received each day over the last 20 days is shown below. What number of days did she receive 19 or fewer e-mails in a day?
This is the last question and thats it.
the 1st graph is it related to the questions you posted up?
2nd one it is C for the 1st one your answer is False
is there a column of the days itself? Or is the days represented by the freq. column?
the first graph is ONLY related to the 2nd question.
i believe the column of freq. represents the number of days so she receives 0-9 emails in 4 days and 10-19 in 7 days. the question says "19 or fewer" which translates to \[x\le19\] where x represents number of days the number of days is 11
No, the days are represented by the freq. column. I'm confused about the part of the graph where it says Cum. Freq.
hmm i would say ignore that because if you add up the values in the freq. column you have 20 which represents the total number of days. the last column must be some sort of average
what about the 11 under Cum. Freq. on the line of 10-19 emails? What does the Cum. Freq mean?
oh okay thanks. :)
Number 2 is the only one that I missed. Question 2 was uniform not skewed. But thanks anyways.
ayee i see now thanks i just noticed that the 11 under freq. column is the 11 days i solved for without looking at it. It represents the total number of days that she received 19 emails exact!
How was it uniform?
oh ok the bars all have the same height. and each class has about the same elements
i dont know, it just was.
Thanks anyway. :)
