-(1/3)x + 12 = 0 first multiply both sides by 3 -x + 36 = 0 now subtract 36 in both sides -x = -36 x = 36 there's no correct option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got 36.003600 wich rounds to 36... 36 isn't up there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

unless the equation isn't equal to 0.... Is it -(1/3)x + 12 = 0 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do no know

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the problem just says solve solve the problem or solve for x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then there's no correct choice

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

@diogo though I have never see this poorly written of a question. I think it is just asking for you to get rid of the \(\frac{-1}{3}\)in front of the x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@FibonacciChick666 can you help with this?

OpenStudy (fibonaccichick666):

@GiGIgo3 Diogo already solved it for you
