Which type of reproduction produces an exact copy of the parent organism?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A.Sexual reproduction B. Replication C. Mitosis D. Asexual reproduction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not A... that is why humans are different

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the answer is B im just not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

answer is D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Answer is D @Abarnett

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok I can see why D is the answer .. I looked up the Asexual Reproduction and it said that it is an organism capable of asexual reproduction is able to produce offspring in the absence of a mate. In asexual reproduction, the offspring is a clone of the parent and therefore results in low genetic variation in the species as a whole.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I did...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok... sorry did not see it! haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):
