jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

there are two types of floats large and small let x = # of large floats y = # of small floats

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the big floats need 30+10 = 40 ft so if you have x of them, then you use up 40x ft so far ---------- one small float takes up 15+10 = 25 ft so you need 25y feet for y small floats

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

in total, you take up 40x + 25y feet this total must be between 150 ft and 200 ft, so \[\large 40x+25y \ge 150\] and \[\large 40x+25y \le 200\]

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

If you graph those two inequalities, then you'll get the solution set, which will lead you to the possible combinations of large and small floats
