May someone read over my dramatic introduction for a personal essay i have to write?

Throughout life people each have their own way of functioning through society. Whether it has a positive or negative effect on society. The Sigmund Freud concept can justify why people behave the way they do. The ID, the selfish, or greedy personality that one can display. If someone had two bowls of fresh soft served ice cream, that was chilled to perfection and the person was only suppose to have one bowl because the second bowl was for another person. Unfortunately, the ID, who is being greedy and selfish, takes over and makes the person consume both bowls of ice cream. Next the Superego, who is the goody-goody, or perfectionist type of personality that one can also display. When someone only wants please others, and constantly wants to do good. Lastly, there is the Ego which balances out the two; moreover this tries make sure one’s personality has both enough ID and Superego. In my life I have displayed the Sigmund Freud theory.

I like it. It doesn't look like it has anything wrong with it. You might want to look at the sentence that starts with "If someone had two bowls..." I'm not quite sure about that one.
