Which of the following graphs represents a system of equations with the solution x = 2, y = -2?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Okay, whatever these graphs are, in each of them, you'll see two lines, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

Well, these lines would intersect at a point, right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

The answer to this question would be the graph where the point of intersection is the point (2,-2) I don't see your choices, so you better work it from here... in the coordinate plane, the point (2,-2) is approximately here... |dw:1367929069704:dw| so find the pair of lines which intersect somewhere there, and get to it :) Have a nice day :D

Thanks, you are helpful :)

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

No problem :)
