OpenStudy (firejay5):

\[8^{2x} = \frac{ 1 }{ 16 }\]

OpenStudy (firejay5):

\[25^{2x} = 125^{x+2}\]

OpenStudy (firejay5):

The first one is suppose to be \[8^{x - 2}\]

OpenStudy (phi):

You should post only 1 at a time. Otherwise it get confusing. can you change both 8 and 16 to the form 2^x where x is some number ?

OpenStudy (phi):

the trick is get a common base. 2*2*2 = 8 so 2^3 = 8

OpenStudy (phi):

what is x so that 2^x = 16

OpenStudy (firejay5):

It's 4
