Which of the following represents "the average of 171 and x"? (x + 2)/171 (171 + x)/2 (171 - x)/2

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

It's just awesome like that :) Just kidding guys Anyway, @sraone88 in Maths especially, try to make your answers make more sense by leading up to it, instead of crashing right into it :D @lucasgirl When we get the average of two numbers, say, 5 and 7, we add them up, we get 12, and divide by the number of entries, 2... so 12/2 = 6... Getting the average of two numbers.... add them up, divide the sum by 2... Repeat after me... add them up... divide the sum by 2... oohhhmmm LOL Have a nice day :D

OpenStudy (gorv):
