Well can you do it
Ill start it off. x+2y=3 (-1) x+y=1 Mult. the bottom by -1 ____________________________________ x+2y=3 -x-y = -1 + x and -x cancels each other out. Subtract y --------------------- y= ? I think you know? :)
-1 on both sides
