Does that make sense to you? http://screencast.com/t/UrpKcVQspptC http://screencast.com/t/LaQg1SExC

OpenStudy (hunus):

Yes, but it is wrong. If f(x) = 2x^3 + 1 then f(-1) = -2 + 1 = -1

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Nope

OpenStudy (aravindg):

For a=-1 x^3 should be -1

OpenStudy (christos):

So according to you, this solution is wrong? http://screencast.com/t/IyN61lAcYY

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Probably .What was the question ?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

You linked us to the solution part

OpenStudy (christos):

That's the question: http://screencast.com/t/hhz6UbN2

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Then that step is wrong

OpenStudy (aravindg):

It should be -1

OpenStudy (christos):

Is it sure?? Have you checked the problem?

OpenStudy (aravindg):

yep

OpenStudy (aravindg):

f(a)=-1

OpenStudy (christos):

Yea, thats what I though, had to make sure though.

OpenStudy (christos):

thought*

OpenStudy (aravindg):

:)
