Thank you in ADVANCE Guys, please help me out. this is the only question i dont know the answer out of 10. find the linear equation 1. x+2/x+3 = x+4/x^2+x-6+x-3/x-2 2. 5/7x-3=7/2x+3/14 3. 1/3(2x-6/5)=1/2(x-4/3) 4. 2[2-(4+2x)=6[x-4(x+1)]

think the linear equation would be 2

you should put parens around your expressions to make clear what is in the denominator and what is not. if you have x's in the top and bottom, and you multiply by the denominators (to "clear them") you will get x*x terms, and so not linear. I would look for an equation that has only x terms that will not get multiplied.
