Can anyone help me with a voyage of red blood cells through the circulatory system project ? :(
So i read through my lesson idk how many times and i still couldn't do this. For this assignment, you will create a project that describes the voyage of a red blood cell through the circulatory system. Project Requirements Your project should include discussions of the following: the structures and functions of the circulatory system factors that affect blood flow through the circulatory system interactions between the red blood cell and important molecules, cells, and organs important terms including: alveoli arteries bone marrow capillaries carbon dioxide cellular respiration deoxygenated blood heart hemoglobin lungs oxygen oxygenated blood plasma platelets pulmonary circulation systemic circulation veins white blood cells
That is going to take a long time to explain all of them
like i saw other examples but i cant copy them but i cant think of my own ur just suppose to like compare a red blood cell voyage to an everyday thing , like i saw one example of a car on a high way .
So you need to compare it to something
basically yeah
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20120520133058AAeFW8P see this is where i found the one compared to a car .
Compare it to a Boat on a river! alveoli like gas stations/ where blood gets oxygen arteries Like a major rivers/ main paths for blood bone marrow is like the factories that make the boats/ blood capillaries little side pockets that add to exploration of new places or cells... capillaries are little places where blood flows to get to all of the cells in your body. carbon dioxide It is what is given off during cellular respiration, and when you exhale... umm it is trasported back to the lungs then the alveoli.. cell waste cellular respiration look above deoxygenated blood- that goes back to the aveoli.. it has carbon dioxide in it, it ran out of supplies/ oxygen heart- This could be the current of the rivers... it pumps blood to the body hemoglobin- it is what allows blood to hold oxygen, so I guess like storage in the boat lungs- Like the gas company as a whole, see aveoli oxygen- Good supplies, keeps cells alive oxygenated blood- boats that hav supplies for a voyage plasma- the water the boat floats in The Rest are up to you!
