can someone please help me?
with?
Two quadrilaterals EFGH and IJKL are drawn on a coordinate grid. The coordinates of the vertices of each quadrilateral are given below. EFGH: E (1, 4), F (4, 4), G (4, 2), H (1, 2) IJKL: I (-7, -1), J (-1, -1), K (-1, -5), and L (-7, -5) Which statement about the two quadrilaterals is true? The sides of IJKL are neither congruent nor similar to the corresponding sides in EFGH. The sides of IJKL are congruent to the corresponding sides in EFGH. The sides of IJKL are two times the length of the corresponding sides in EFGH. The sides of IJKL are four times the length of the corresponding sides in EFGH.
i think it is the third one?
ok give me a sec
okay thank you btw
i think it may be a
and np
ohh can you explain?
mkay well you said you think its fthe third one right?
the*
yes
ok well you take EFGH: E (1, 4), F (4, 4), G (4, 2), H (1, 2) IJKL: I (-7, -1), J (-1, -1), K (-1, -5), and L (-7, -5) and just compare them
should i put it on a grid?
yes try that and then compare it would be the best way
okay
i will see what i get
ok tell me what you get
okay well i dont think A is right because they are similar
im still thinking its the third one because EFGH is 3units wide and 4 units in height and IJKL is 6units wide and 8 units in height. so isnt that twice the size?
@tible19 does that sound right? im not sure
ok i made a graph and graphed it and yes you are very right... sorry i needed a visual xD
lol ohh okay yay.
np i just had a blonde moment
happens to me all the time lol..can you help me with another?
ok ^^
im going to do it in another post
ok
