How would I solve 12 + x <= 2x -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait it it less than and = or just = or just < ..... cuz if you clarify that then I'll be able to solve it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just < sorry for the confusion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no that's okay...... well you have to put in an equal sign to solve it anyway then you can put the < sign back..... so it's basically like \[12+ x=2x-2 \] Then you subtract the 12 and try to solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

With the x and 2x, would I add them together?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no... cuz ur trying to solve x okay???? so you leave the x on the right to solve for x and then tell what's greater then or less then
