Re- write it....25 = a% x 350 or 25 = (a%)(350)
now we need to divide by 350 to get a% by itself
25/350 = 305a%/350
.0714 = a%
now we have to turn .0714 into a percent by moving the decimal two spaces to the right.
7.14 % = a
now check..
25 = (7.14%)(350)
25 = (.0714)(350)
25 = 24.99 (rounds up to 25)
ANSWER : 25 is 7.14% of 350
