Make a two-column proof showing statements and reasons to prove that triangle ABD is similar to triangle ABC.
i really need helping or someone to help guide me through this

if both end up to be 45-45-90 then doesnt that mean they're both isosceles

using AAA test for similarity,u only need to show two pair angles equal...
first pair is the one with measure 45 degrees
second is angle A which is common to both triangles
3rd angle automatically equals because the sum of 3 angles is always 180
so both triangles are similar by AAA test and u cannot prove it to be 45-45-90
