what is 8 million as a power of ten
Eight million tothe power of ten?
yes
For that you'll need the log base 10. It's a button on a calculator which tells you precisely that.
Assuming you mean scientific notation, not just power of 10 (might be a bad assumption): 1 million = 1,000,000 Just count the 0's, so 8 million = 8 x 10^6
No, I believe kayla wanted 8 million to be sure as a power of 10, like in my answer, or maybe 10^x=8 million, not 8 million^10
That's also not 8 million to the tenth. That's just 8 million times ten to the tenth.
hmmmmmmm
8mil x itself ten times. c:
That's not what kayla was asking.
@Numb3r1 Are you answering me when you said "That's also not 8 million to the tenth. That's just 8 million times ten to the tenth."?
8*10^6 <--- THIS IS FOR 8 AS A POWER OF 10
@AlexRC Sorry, no, that was @kika_rayne . 8 million is 10 to the 6.(something)
think of it like a scientific notation
Are you asking for 8,000,000 expressed as a power of ten? That would be log(8000000) on most calculators. It's slightly over 10^6.9
Alright, if it's Scientific notation @kika_rayne I already said that, scroll up ;)
@kayla1525 the scientific notation of 8,000,000 is 8*10^6
thanks @AlexRC
@AlexRC lol i didnt see it
neither did i
ok so we have decided that its 8*10^6, right?
yes , and thanx guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
