Have you heard about they funny symbolism the two parties gave for each other. Elephants were symbolized as the Republicans. Democrats gave them this symbolism when the Republicans symbolized them as a Donkey. Democrats believed that elephants were intelligent but lazy, they believed this were the Republicans. and Republicans believed that Democrats were unintelligent but stubborn like a donkey. I know this is not an enough information but that's what i know after seeing the cartoon.

thats what I thought.....the reason being, after the hearings, the Republicans won more seats in the Congress and the Senate because of the hearings.
