solve the equation 25x^2+36=0

OpenStudy (espex):

And where is it that you are stuck?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the whole thing i have no idea what to do @eSpeX

OpenStudy (espex):

Presumably you have been learning this in your lectures and have done some example problems. The final step will be to solve for 'x' and so the first step would be to get your x^2 alone, how would you do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont have a teacher i have to take concept quizes over the whole year and do good on those to pass the class. but i'm guessing you would subtract 36 and then divide by 25 then square root it all

@eSpeX

OpenStudy (espex):

That is exactly how you would do it.
