Mods have gotten my reports right away. They may not make some great public appearance or demonstrate their power with the banhammer. Issues are taken care of  privately. You won't know if a mod took action or not, however, I can grantee you that they passed legislation. 

Ya' know, mods aren't just elected all willy-nilly. It's a long process of trust, relationship, nobility, maturity, and independence.

Generally they just talk to the person. Make sure it doesnt happen again and work it out.

They take their sweet time.
I'll never remember when in chat there were complete trollers and it took like 30 minutes for them to ban them.

But yes, they get them.
And I can't complain, they usually take action fairly quick!
