:D

OpenStudy (primeralph):

break it up!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C 2200 sq. yd :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Multiply them all and divide by how many their are :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer is supposed to be B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Then why are you asking ;o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1700 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i want to know how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

show me your work, please?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Divide it in rectangles and 1 triangle, area for each rectangle is a*b and for triangle is a*b/2. If you need more explanation just say :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you can break the shape up. 60 x 20 = 1200 rectangle area then find the remaining area of the other shape and add it to 1200

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the remaining area is 500 and you add it to 1200 for a total of 1700
