OpenStudy (anonymous):

40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is the answer? please explain how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is congruent to y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (zale101):

So we have two interior angles of 35 + y and two of 60 + 40 = 100 360 = 2*100 + 2(y + 35) 360 = 200 + 2y + 70 so 2y = 360 - 200 - 70 = 90 2y=90 90/2= 45 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

OpenStudy (zale101):

@PvtGunner , it's not a square, it's a parallelogram

OpenStudy (zale101):

A parallelogram with four congruent sides may be either a square or a rhombus

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there are two triangles

OpenStudy (zale101):

You can check your answer by doing the fact of the consecutive interior angles which are supplementary. 180 = 100 + (y + 35) plug y to 45 and the answer will be 180

thank you

OpenStudy (zale101):

Your Welcome :)
