since it is a regular heptagon, it has all of its sides equal and therefore the area of eaxh triangle in the heptagon would be the same..... \[A=\frac{ 1 }{ 2 } \times b \times h\] A=Area of a triangle b=base h=height (apothem)

COOL!!!! Thank you!! I never knew that little line actually had a name!! Now that said, you now have the base and the height of one triangular face of the heptogon (even though you drew a hexagon), and you should also know that the area of a triangle is: 1/2*B*H
