Mr Samsa as in Gregor's father? 
well likes at first he's all thankful that his son has a job that's very beneficial to pay for the nice livings they obtained but after he changes Gregor's father gets very angry at Gregor and with time he throws an apple at Gregor which won't ever be healed- and his father will later deteriorate physically and mentally with progression of the story.
