Maybe they’d put restrictions on the kind of crowd a member could hang out with, where they could go and at what time, or by nosing into the member’s private life to understand what’s going on. Goodness knows that these efforts by family and parents can really get under a member’s skin. After all, I could name over twenty instances off the top of my head where I’d sat brooding around the house after being told that I couldn’t go to my friend’s or stay out late on a school night. These restrictions no doubt become quite annoying to the child, and yet it’s is clearly visible that the family is in this circumstance just trying to provide a firm but loving supportive family.
