A square sandbox has an area of 64 square feet. What is the length of this sandbox?
No. There is no need to have anything done "for" her.
omg ben leave me alone
how do you find square feet? tell me the formula
l*w
Very good! Now are there any choices? The only way you can answer this is if the room was square. What choices do you have? Do you just simplify it?
square room with an area of 64 square feet
nvm
Ha...sorry lol... So the room is square. To find the squarefootage you would multiply the length times the width. They are both the same as the def. of a square is all sides equal and all angles equal. So think about it. If for example all sides of the square are four, you multiply 4*4 which is the same as \(4^{2}\) so when you get the answer to that \(4^{2}\) = 16 you do the same steps backwards which is \(\sqrt{16}\) which is 4 so that is how you find the sides of a square. So if you have the ending of the above example which is 64 how do find the sides?
Hint \[\sqrt{64}\]
What does that equal @curesem
it equals 8
